Europees netwerk van overlevenden van jeugdkanker

EU-CAYAS-NET

Is a project, co-funded by the European Commission, which unites leading organisations from 18 countries active in the childhood and youth cancer field to map the existing resources that are helpful to young cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers, to create new European guidelines and empower cancer survivors to advocate for their rights and needs.

Childhood Cancer International – Europa

CCI Europe is the largest umbrella for childhood cancer organisations in Europe, counting 63 members in 34 countries. We aim at ensuring that children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer, their parents and siblings as well as survivors are not left alone, no matter where in Europe they live.

Jeugdkanker Europa

Impact-driven network of cancer survivors, aged 18-39 from 40+ European countries with a track record of shaping EU policies on cross-border healthcare, financial discrimination, fertility, and mental health. Helping Ukrainian patients from war zones to access healthcare services in the EU.

SIOP Europa

SIOPE is the only pan-European organisation representing all professionals working in the field of childhood cancers. With more than 2000 members across 35 European countries, SIOPE is leading the way to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for all children and adolescents with cancer in Europe.

Pancare

PanCare is a European network of healthcare professionals, researchers and childhood cancer survivors and their families. Our mission is to ensure equal access to optimal long-term care and to improve the quality of life for every child and adolescent in Europe after their cancer treatment.

Prinses Maxima Centrum

Our goal is ’to cure every child with cancer with an optimal quality of life. All children diagnosed with childhood cancer in The Netherlands are treated in our centre. Survivors of childhood cancer can visit our LATER outpatient clinic.

Medische Universiteit Wenen

The pediatric Neuro-Oncology unit of MUV cares for young patients with brain tumours during intensive treatment and also continuously in long-term follow-up care until the transition to adult follow-up care. The bio-psycho-social approach is of great concern to us from the beginning of the disease to follow-up in care and research.

Fundació Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD)

FSJD-HSJD focuses on healthcare, research, training, and the dissemination of knowledge in the field of all the medical paediatric specialities and pregnant women. From 2022, Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona is a dedicated facility built for the benefit of children and adolescents with cancer and their families.

Litouwse kankerpatiëntencoalitie (POLA)

The biggest and most visible patient organisation in Lithuania, with a community of over 1 000 young cancer survivors. Unites 30+ organisations and provides social services to over 42 000 cancer patients every month.

With over 20 years’ experience participating in European projects, Pintail supports excellence in scientific research and cooperation through effective project management, high-impact communication, facilitation of stakeholder engagement and informed sustainability planning.
