Spotlight on the YARN Project at the Joint CCI Europe - SIOP Europe conference 2026
The 16th CCI Europe Conference (4–6 May 2026, Glasgow, UK), organised in partnership with SIOP Europe and embedded within the SIOP Europe Annual Meeting, brings together parents, survivors, healthcare professionals, and researchers to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and shape the future of childhood cancer care. Within this highly collaborative and multidisciplinary environment - featuring joint sessions, abstract presentations, and networking opportunities - the YARN (European Youth Cancer Network) project will be prominently showcased as a key example of EU-funded, patient-centred innovation.
YARN Healthy Lifestyle Bootcamp
On 2 and 3 May, the Healthy Lifestyle Bootcamp took place at Città del Mare in Terrasini, Sicily as part of the YARN project. Organised by CEIPES ETS in collaboration with Youth Cancer Europe, coordinators of the project, the bootcamp brought together 49 members of the Youth Cancer Council (YCC), involving young people with lived experience in activities focused on healthy lifestyles, wellbeing and peer connection.
