Many young adult cancer survivors fail to transition from pediatric to adult care, or drop out of care after transitioning successfully, even when access to appropriate Long Term Follow-UP (LTFU) care is available. The study was conducted to identify psychological factors involved in this transition to adult care long-term follow-up clinics (Granek et al., 2012).
