Information (written in Spanish) to better understand children’s experience of grief.

Year:2017

The guide explains the experience of grief in childhood and adolescence and tries to break the taboo around topics related to dying and death. The experience of loss and bereavement is of great importance, not only for the educational and socio-family system but also in terms of health. Grief is a process of adaptation, it is a path that we must go through, both children and adults, whenever we lose someone or something important in our lives.

This guide attempts to help you understand the understanding of death and grief according to age and development and provides information about the difference between adult grief and childhood grief as well as the expression of grief in the family and school environment. The guide also includes support materials on this topic.
