The European Commission together with the EU Mission on Cancer organised the conference “Addressing the Needs of Young Cancer Survivors” to bring together young cancer patients and survivors from EU Member States and beyond, to address the quality of life for and of survivors of childhood, adolescence, and young adult cancer.

During the conference participants addressed the current unmet needs and the challenges faced during and after cancer treatment. In this video, Sarunas Narbutas, Youth Cancer Europe‘s co-founder and chairman, and Ana Amariutei, a patient advocate at Youth Cancer Europe address why is it important to have these meetings.
