Several times a day

  • fruits
  • vegetables
  • whole grains
  • nuts
  • legumes
  • extra virgin olive oil

Several times a week

  • fish/seafood
  • poultry
  • eggs
  • nuts
  • dairy foods such as cheese and yogurt

Several times a month

  • sweets containing added sugars or honey
  • red meat
