On May 8, CCI Europe is planning the workshop “Let’s break taboos: Communication about late effects“.

The EU-CAYAS-NET project wants to change the way we talk about late effects. Therefore, this workshop we will discuss if and how late effects and follow-up care after cancer treatment during childhood, adolescence and young adulthood are communicated by clinical professionals. We would like to hear from your experiences! How have you been told? How did the conversation go? (What could have been done better?)

Did you have cancer as kid, adolescent or young adult and would like to contribute your experience, needs and knowledge to help us create guidelines for communicating about late effects? Then register here, we look forward to exchanging ideas with you!
