The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in Cancer Care Stakeholder Forum will take place Tuesday, on 17 June 2025, at (Re)space Skyline Europa, Rue de Trèves 74, Brussels.
This full-day event, starting at 9:00 AM and finishing at 5:00 PM, will bring together representatives from EU institutions, research organisations, civil society, advocacy networks, and EU-funded initiatives to share their work and exchange on how best to address disparities in cancer care across Europe.
The meeting will showcase current and upcoming EDI-related initiatives, provide space to better understand each other’s ongoing work, and identify opportunities to align efforts and reduce duplication. Through open discussion and collaboration, participants will help define shared priorities and explore possible next steps to further inclusive and equitable cancer care across the region.
The programme will consist of concise 5-minute presentations grouped by theme, followed by moderated discussions to explore shared challenges and potential synergies.
Our expectation from the event is that we form new connections, cross-pollinate projects with good EDI practices and successful strategies, and, as a community invested in cancer care and better overall health for European citizens, become better equipped to work meaningfully with our diverse populations to ensure more inclusive and equitable care.
