📅 When? March 6–9, 2025
🎯 Who’s it for? Young cancer Survivors (15-29 y.o.) ready to take life into their own hands
🚀 What’s AYA?! Survivors Academy?
It’s not about cancer. It’s about what comes next.
AYA?! Survivors Academy is a space for young people who have been through cancer and are now navigating what life looks like beyond treatment. This isn’t just another support group—it’s a movement, a community, and a place where Survivors come together to reclaim their future.
The Academy was created by Fundacja Pani Ani, an organization built by and for Survivors, dedicated to supporting young people as they transition beyond treatment. Thanks to the support of the DKMS Foundation, AYA?! Survivors Academy provides a fully funded, transformative experience for participants.
In March 2025, we return to Sopot for the second edition of AYA?! Academy, bringing together 20 young Survivors from across Poland to:
✅ Build confidence & rediscover their strengths
✅ Learn how to express their needs & set boundaries
✅ Connect with others who get it – no need to explain
✅ Get real-life strategies to handle work, studies, and relationships post-treatment
🌊 Why Sopot?
Because healing doesn’t just happen in hospitals. There’s power in fresh air, open spaces, and the sea. Sopot offers a safe and inspiring environment for young Survivors to connect, reflect, and move forward.
💡 What’s new this year?
🚀 The Youth Cancer Survivors Team will be presenting key outcomes of the Youth Cancer Survivors Project, including:
🔹 Pocket Cards – practical tools designed to support young Survivors in navigating life post-treatment
🔹 EDI framework (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) – ensuring that every young Survivor feels seen, heard, and empowered
🌟 This year, AYA?! Survivors Academy has been honored with the Honorary Patronage of the President of Sopot, recognizing the importance of creating spaces for young cancer Survivors to grow, connect, and thrive.
🚀 We’re starting soon – stay tuned!
