At this event, we will dive into the concept of self-acceptance—what it truly means, why it matters, and how to cultivate it after the challenges of surviving cancer. Together, we’ll discuss:
- What is Self-Acceptance? Understanding the meaning and importance of accepting yourself fully, with all your strengths, imperfections, and experiences as a survivor.
- Building and Training Self-Acceptance: Practical strategies and exercises to help you develop a deeper sense of self-worth and acceptance, especially after everything you’ve been through as a survivor.
- Maintaining Self-Acceptance: How to nurture and sustain a positive relationship with yourself, even when faced with ongoing challenges in life after cancer.
- Focusing on Yourself in the right way: The importance of self-care, setting boundaries, and prioritizing your own well-being as a cancer survivor.
This peer support event is designed to be a safe, supportive space where survivors can connect with others who understand their journey. Whether you’re just beginning to explore self-acceptance or looking to strengthen it further, this discussion is for you.
