About the Event

Join us on March 21, 2024, at the European Parliament, for the launch of our “Recommendations for Equitable, Diverse and Inclusive Cancer Care in Europe” Policy Paper with a strong focus on the needs of minorities and the especially vulnerable groups and disenfranchised communities like Roma, LGBTQ, immigrant, and other underserved populations.

The event is organised by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Work Package leader Youth Cancer Europe and will be hosted by MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos in the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, from 11-13 CET, in Room ANTALL 6Q1. The discussion will bring together Members of the European Parliament, health organisations, patient advocacy groups, and other stakeholders, and will invite young people living with and beyond cancer to share their experiences, their research findings, and policy recommendations.

The event is open to the general public, but subject to pre-registration and valid identity documentation (passport or national ID card). Seats are limited so please fill in the form below to secure a spot. (If the form below doesn’t work, use this registration link)

There is a limited budget available for reimbursing travel and accommodation costs for speakers and authors of the policy paper that will be launched at the event.
